FRANK TOTTER was born Dec. 12, 1910, in Hempstead. He had two sisters and eight brothers (all siblings are deceased). On June 24, 1933, Frank married Ellen Kjaer and was widowed in 1992. He served in the U.S. Army from July 1943 to Dec. 1945 and received the European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal and the World War II Victory Medal. He is retired from the Long Island Lighting Co. He has two adopted daughters, Dorothy Campbell and Adele Morse, three grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. A longtime resident of Franklin Square, he moved to Sunrise Senior Living of North Lynbrook in 2009. He celebrated his 100th birthday there with family and friends.
