Centenarian: Josephine Virga of Bethpage
JOSEPHINE VIRGA, née DiBella, was born on March 19, 1924, in Rutland, Vermont. She grew up in Brooklyn, where she met her husband, Frank. They married in 1947 and moved to Rosedale, Queens, where they raised their two children. In 1976 they moved to Wantagh. Josephine worked at Western Electric until she retired. She was widowed in 1995 after 48 years of marriage and moved to Bethpage, where she still resides. She has four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She loves spending time with family and friends.
