Centenarian: Theresa Ardezzone

THERESA ARDEZZONE, née Albanese, was born on March 16, 1924, in Manhattan, where she grew up and met her husband, Anthony. They married in 1948, lived in Brooklyn for a few years, then moved to Queens. In 1966 they purchased a home in Bayside where they lived for 46 years. Theresa was widowed in 2012 after 64 years of marriage and now lives in a nursing facility in New Hyde Park. She has two sons, Anthony Jr. and Richard, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She celebrated her birthday with a party, surrounded by her loved ones.
