Cops: 2 kids on school bus hurt in North Bellmore crash

Two children aboard a school bus were injured Monday in a motor vehicle accident in North Bellmore, Nassau County police said.

The students, who are from BOCES, had minor injuries and complained of pain, police said.

They were taken to a hospital, police said.

Four children were aboard the bus at Jerusalem Avenue and Bellmore Road when the accident was reported at 11:22 a.m., police said.

Police had no other details Monday night, including how the accident happened.
