Cops: Glen Head man charged in 8 burglaries

A Glen Head man has been arrested in a string of eight burglaries that spanned five months in Glen Head and Sea Cliff, Nassau County police said.
According to Third Squad detectives, Frank Lisberg, 27, of 2 Pine St., burglarized Glen Head homes at the following locations: The Promenade (Aug. 9 and 24), Todd Drive (Aug. 19), Glen Cove Drive (Aug. 28), Hill Lane (Nov. 26), Hillcrest Drive (Dec. 3) and Plymouth Drive South (Dec. 19). Police said he also burglarized a Sea Cliff home on Carpenter Avenue on Sept. 22. Jewelry, cash and prescription medication were stolen, police said.
Lisberg was found to have committed the burglaries after selling stolen jewelry to Gold Coast Jewelers of Greenvale, police said.
Lisberg will be arraigned Friday on eight counts of second-degree burglary in First District Court, Hempstead.
