A Muslim woman who said she was harassed and called a terrorist last week while on a Manhattan subway, and then was reported missing Friday night, has been found, Nassau County Police said early Saturday.

Police issued a news release just before 2 a.m. Saturday and said that Yasmin Seweid, 18, “has been located.” A police spokesman said Saturday morning he had no additional information on where she had been, who found her or where she was found.

“She basically left her family voluntarily and ran away with her boyfriend,” a police official said Saturday evening.

Before she was reported missing, Seweid had not been seen since she left her New Hyde Park home on foot at 8 p.m. Wednesday, police said in a news release issued Friday. She was carrying a bag containing clothing at the time, police said.

Seweid, a Baruch College student, has said that while waiting for and riding on the northbound 6 train after 10 p.m. on Dec. 1, she was insulted by three apparently drunk men, who called her a terrorist and shouted President-elect Donald Trump’s name in her direction before trying to yank off her hijab.

The NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating her report.
