Nassau County police say they are seeking the public's help in finding a man who sexually abused a female employee at a Hicksville day spa on Jan. 6.

The man was described as being 40 to 50 years old, about 5-foot-9, had a shaved head and a beard, was wearing a long-sleeved tan T-shirt and blue jeans.

He entered the Red Bell Spa on Newbridge Road about 7 p.m. Jan. 6 and arranged for a massage, police said.

While he was being massaged by a female worker, he grabbed the woman's right arm and tried to make her touch him in a sexual manner, police said. He then got off the table, struggled with the woman and touched her in an in appropriate manner, police said.

She was able to leave the room and call police. He fled "by unknown means," police said.

Detectives asked anyone with information about the crime to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-8477.
