A Westbury man was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly pulled down his pants and exposed himself to a teenager, police said.

Nassau Police said the 18-year-old was standing outside the rear door of her South Franklin Street apartment when she saw a maroon Dodge pickup truck pull up next to her yard around noon.

Jeffrey Lichtenberger, 37, of 975 Mirabelle Ave. exited his vehicle, walked next to her yard and pulled his pants down, exposing himself to her, police said. After walking away, the victim turned back toward Lichtenberger, who again pulled his pants down, exposing himself for a second time. After the victim called 911 from her cellphone, Lichtenberger got into his truck and drove away, police said.

The teen positively identified Lichtenberger from a photo array and, at 5 p.m., Lichtenberger was located and placed into custody, according to police.

Lichtenberger is charged with public lewdness and will be arraigned Thursday in First District Court in Hempstead.

Police are asking anyone who thinks they may have been victimized by Lichtenberger to contact Third Squad detectives at 516-573-6354.
