A massage therapist is accused of touching a client inappropriately. Authorities say George Garcia, 29, of Yonkers, inappropriately touched the 23-year-old female client during a massage on Dec. 3 at Elements Therapeutic Massage at 316A Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre. A licensed masseur accused of sexually abusing a client at a Rockville Centre massage center was released Monday without bail after his arraignment at First District Court in Hempstead, officials said.

George Garcia, 29, was charged Sunday with forcible touching and third-degree sexual abuse of a 23-year-old woman during her session at Elements Massage, 316A Sunrise Hwy, police said.

Mineola attorney Anthony M. Grandinette said his client is a graduate of the Swedish Institute College of Heath Sciences in New York City and that he has worked in the area as a licensed massage therapist since 2010.

Garcia, of Yonkers, has completed thousands of massage hours to more than 800 clients without a single complaint, his attorney said.

Grandinette said, too, that at no time during the 90-minute massage at issue did the client voice any concern, leave the room or stop the treatment.

“Equally as baffling is the fact the complainant received two prior massage sessions by Mr. Garcia, specifically requested him on this occasion, and actually tipped Mr. Garcia $20.00 after the massage,” the attorney said in a statement. “Mr. Garcia adamantly denies the allegations against him and looks forward to his complete vindication.”

A call to the owner of Elements Massage was not immediately returned.
