Nassau County police are investigating an accident Thursday morning in Baldwin in which a motorcycle hit a pole, a police spokeswoman said.

The cyclist crashed shortly before 10 a.m. on Atlantic Avenue near Verity Lane, police said, and was taken to a hospital to be treated for nonlife-threatening injuries.
