• Cavalier, 55, of Mount Sinai, is running on the Democratic Party line in the general election.
• Since January, she has been an election forms processor at the Suffolk County Board of Elections.
• Cavalier was chief of staff for Suffolk County Legis. Sarah Anker (D-Mount Sinai) from February 2019 to December 2023.
• She was a prosecutor in the Suffolk County Traffic and Parking Violations Bureau from June 2018 to February 2019.
• Cavalier was an attorney at Cavalier & Associates PC from October 2005 to May 2011, and then became a managing attorney from May 2011 to October 2018.
• She received a bachelor’s degree in forensic psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 1992 and earned her law degree from St. John’s University Law School in 1996. Cavalier was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1997.
