BACKGROUND

• LoCurto, 55, of Syosset, is running on the Republican, Democratic and Conservative party lines in the general election.
• She has been a deputy county attorney since 2022 and has also been the bureau chief of Property Assessment Litigation since 2021 for the Nassau County Attorney’s Office.
• LoCurto was an executive deputy county attorney in the Litigation/Appeals Bureau from 2020 to 2021. From 2010 to 2019, she was chief deputy county attorney. From October 2009 to January 2010, she was a senior counsel for the Torts Bureau for the Nassau County Attorney’s Office.
• She received her undergraduate degree from St. John’s University in 1991 and earned her law degree from Creighton University School of Law in Omaha, Nebraska, in 1994. She was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1996 and the Eastern District of New York in 1999.
