Two employees of an Islip hookah lounge were arrested Friday night after they served alcohol to underage customers, Suffolk County police said.

Branden Lear, 21, and Matthew Bradshaw, 20, both of Islip, are accused of operating an unlicensed bottle club at Rama Hookah Lounge, 495 Main St., officials said.

At about 10:45 p.m., officers responding to community complaints entered the lounge and saw about 30 underage people with cans and bottles of beer as well as tobacco and hookah pipes, police said.

Police later arrested Lear and Bradshaw. Lear was charged with several counts of endangering the welfare of a child and operating an unlicensed bottle club. Bradshaw was charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

The men are scheduled to be arraigned April 6 in First District Court in Central Islip.
