Coram man dies from injuries in Rocky Point bicycle crash

A Coram man who was seriously hurt a week ago when the bicycle he was riding collided with a minivan in Rocky Point has died, Suffolk police said.
Raymond McCue, 60, was airlifted to the hospital after the 6:20 a.m. crash on Oct. 21. Police said McCue was riding his bicycle southbound on Rocky Point Road when his bike and a minivan, also traveling southbound, collided.
McCue was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital by police helicopter. The driver of the minivan, Phillip Gabriel, 25, was not hurt, police said.
Gabriel, of Rocky Point, stayed at the scene of the crash and was not charged, police said.
