A garbage truck overturned Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018, in Islip, Suffolk County police said. Credit: James Carbone

A garbage truck in Islip rolled over and came to rest on its side on a residential street Wednesday morning, Suffolk County police said.

The accident occurred shortly before 10 a.m. on Maple Street just west of Ocean Avenue, police said.

There were no injuries, police said.
