Police: 2 stabbed in Shoreham

An early morning stabbing in Shoreham Friday left two men with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Suffolk County police said details of the stabbing, which occurred on Barrens Street, a residential side street, at about 1:40 a.m., are still emerging. Investigators are asking anyone with information to call Seventh Squad detectives at 631-852-8752 or Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
Police did not immediately release any information about the two victims. The two were transported to John T. Mather Memorial Hospital in Port Jefferson, but more specific details about their conditions were not known Friday.
