Pizza shop owner charged with drug sale

An owner of a West Babylon pizzeria was arrested Tuesday evening, charged with selling prescription drugs out of the restaurant, police said.
Francesco Miceli of Miceli Brothers Pizzeria was charged with multiple counts of criminal sale and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Miceli, 50, of 50 Smith St., Rockville Centre, was the focus of a three-month-long investigation into the sale of oxycodone hydrochloride pills out of the pizza shop, Suffolk police said.
During the investigation, police said, Miceli sold drugs on numerous occasions to a police agent at the restaurant, 1030 Little East Neck Rd., police said.
Miceli was to be arraigned Wednesday in First District Court, Central Islip.
