Long Island Expressway crash in Jericho closes multiple eastbound lanes, police say
A crash on the Long Island Expressway early Friday morning has closed multiple eastbound lanes in Jericho, according to an advisory from the Nassau County police.
The accident occurred near Exit 40, police said in an email sent shortly after 5:30 a.m. advising drivers to use an alternate route to avoid the area.
The state's Department of Transportation website, 511ny.org, was showing three lanes were closed.
