The talented junior had the best 400 hurdles time in the state (59.99) this year and capped the spring season with a state Division I 400 hurdles title.
Valencia Hannon
Elmont, Jr.
Hannon was the top sprinter on Long Island and proved it, winning the Federation 100 title in a career-best time of 11.87 seconds.
Joanna Koronios
Carle Place, Sr.
A dominant discus thrower, Koronios set the Nassau record with a toss of 150 feet, 6 inches and followed that up with a Federation title in the event.
Michelle Rotondo
Garden City, Sr.
In addition to winning the Federation 400 hurdles title, Rotondo was also a member of the Trojans' 4 x 400-meter state Division I championship relay.
Melodee Riley
Riverhead, Jr.
Riley emerged as one of the state's top jump specialists this season as she came home with the Federation triple jump championship and the Division I long jump title.
Kaitlin Whitehorn
Glenn, Sr.
Whitehorn got better every day, culminating in a Federation championship in the high jump. Whitehorn cleared 5-7 in the final, edging defending champ Joanne Imbert of Valley Stream Central.
Olicia Williams
St. Anthony's, Jr.
A dominant middle-distance runner, Williams won the CHSAA Intersectional 400 title in 54.75 seconds and has one of the best 800 times (2:07.8) in the state.
