Lotto ticket sold in Northport worth $64,785

A customer who purchased a TAKE 5 lotto ticket from a Northport business is about to get nearly $65,000 richer.
The New York Lottery announced Thursday that the top-prizing winning ticket — worth $64,785.50 — for Tuesday's drawing was sold at New Beginnings Cardique.
The winning numbers for Tuesday's drawing were 12-17-22-24-29.
Also, 253 players each won $384 by matching four out of the five numbers, according to the lottery.
The lottery is encouraging everyone who purchased a game ticket to check their numbers as they could be holding a winner. Tickets expire one year after a game's drawing.
Winners can claim their prizes at any one of the lottery's customer service centers including the Long Island office located at 45 South Service Rd. in Plainview or at Resorts World Casino in Jamaica.
