Rachel Hollis, mother of three, posts viral bikini photo with pride

Rachel Hollis, a mother of three, posted a bikini photo that went viral after she shared it on her lifestyle blog's Facebook account without a hint of shame.  

Hollis' husband took the photo of her in an orange and blue bikini while on vacation in Cancun, Mexico. As a 32-year-old with three children, Hollis considered cropping her stomach out of the photo, but decided against it.

“I have stretch marks and I wear a bikini. I have a belly that's permanently flabby from carrying three giant babies,” Hollis wrote. “I wear a bikini because I'm proud of this body and every mark on it.”

The post had earned more than 400,000 likes and 50,000 shares as of Friday afternoon, with other mothers and plus-size women sharing their own bikini photos in solidarity.

“I felt so proud of my body,” Hollis told Today. “It touches my heart that people are having this reaction to it.”
