Could Central Perk be any more crowded?
If you plan to visit Manhattan’s new Central Perk coffee shop, you’ll have to get in line – a very long, long line.
Some die-hard "Friends" fans claimed to have waited in line for hours to check out the pop-up replica, which opened Wednesday.
The "line is wrapped around the entire block to get into Central Perk," one Twitter user wrote.
Warner Bros. and Eight O’Clock Coffee recreated the iconic setting with a pop-up replica to mark 20 years since the debut.
Fans flocked to the shop, located at 199 Lafayette Street, to see the famous orange couch, Central Perk chalkboard and to sip on a free limited-edition Central Perk Roast.
Oh, and to spot James Michael Tyler, better known as Gunther.
Tyler apparently made a special appearance at the shop Wednesday.
"Gunther just appeared at Central Perk. Waiting in the two hour long line right now. #Friends20th," one person announced on Twitter.
Those who have the willpower to wait in line for hours may even catch a "Smelly Cat" performance.
Central Perk will be open until Oct. 18.
