Chris Brown threatened to shoot Frank Ocean, may have lied about community service: Reports
Chris Brown threatened to shoot Frank Ocean during the pair's scuffle last month, according to new court papers that allege Brown faked the community service he was assigned for assaulting Rihanna in 2009.
Brown, 23, and Ocean, 25, got into the fight Jan. 27 when Ocean reportedly confronted the singer for taking up his parking space outside a Hollywood recording studio.
During the two-to-three-minute fight, Brown allegedly punched Ocean in the face, causing both entourages to join in, when someone in Brown's camp yelled a homophobic slur at Ocean, according to published reports. Ocean has previously said he won't file charges.
The details of the fight emerged in a filing yesterday from the Los Angeles District Attorney, which claims that Brown lied about completing his 180 days of community service, reports said.
"After a thorough review of all documents and evidence submitted to the court, it appears there are significant discrepancies indicating at best sloppy documentation and at worst fraudulent reporting," DA Jackie Lacey reportedly wrote in the court papers, adding a request to the judge to have Brown completely redo his sentence.
Brown received the sentence, along with five years of probation, for pleading guilty to assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna. Since then, the two have reconciled and are dating again, Rihanna told Rolling Stone magazine.
Brown's attorney didn't respond to a request for comment.
