Eddy Coello and Tina Adovasio
An ex-cop suspected of strangling his wife to death and leaving her body in the woods was indicted by a Bronx grand jury Tuesday.
Eddy Coello, 38, was charged with one count of second-degree murder in the death of Tina Adovasio, 40, a mother of four who prosecutors say was trying to leave her husband. She had vanished from their Throgs Neck home on March 11. Coello is expected to plead not guilty in court.
If convicted, Coello faces 25 years to life in prison.
