Jake Gyllenhaal dated Minka Kelly: Report

Minka Kelly and Jake Gyllenhaal ... Seems like a bit of an odd couple to us, but according to a new report, the pair went on a few dates recently - despite getting off to a rocky start.

According to Us Weekly, the "Friday Night Lights" alum, 32, apparently turned down the 31-year-old actor last fall when he asked her out, choosing instead to cavort with serial dater Wilmer Valderrama.

"Minka wasn't into Jake when he first pursued her," a source told Us Weekly, adding that when Kelly and Valderrama's fling fizzled in April, she "decided to give Jake another chance."

Looks like Derek Jeter's onetime galpal was none too impressed though, as another source told the mag, "It was never serious, and it's over now."
