Staten Island Chuck says winter is on its way out

New York's famous groundhog Staten Island Chuck did not see his shadow Thursday morning, which means spring is cutting winter short this year.
Chuck - or Charles G. Hogg, if you're proper - peeked out of his home Thursday morning and made the prediction that the harshest days of winter are behind us, and it's smooth sailing until spring's official start March 20.
