Say you liked a visit you made to Oheka Castle in Huntington so much that you wanted to wear a reminder of the place next to your heart, or around your wrist.
You will be able to do so, soon. Executives of the catering complex said earlier this week they have formed a new company, Oheka Licensing Llc, for the purpose of branding jewelry and other items.
Oheka marketing and design director Nancy Melius said Oheka is in the final stages of talks with a high-end jeweler who will produce a line that will be known as the Oheka brand.
It's Oheka's first venture into branded items, said Melius, who added that bridal dresses, furniture or fabrics could come next. Melius declined to name the jeweler.
"The jeweler came to us and wanted to do a branding," Melius said. "We're close to making this happen."
