Officials say a West Babylon man is accused of killing his brother after an argument over beer.

Police say John Beaumont and his brother Thomas got into a fight at the home they shared with their dad on Saturday.

According to officials, John stabbed his brother and then called 911 and told them what he did. Thomas died at the hospital.

John faces second-degree murder charges. He was ordered held without bail at his arraignment today and is due back in court on May 17.
