The Mets’ record so far in 2024: zero wins, four losses, three rainouts.
The Mets announced a little after 1 p.m. on Wednesday that their scheduled 7:10 p.m game against the Tigers would be postponed because of rain.
Wednesday’s game and Tuesday’s – which was rained out after a two-hour wait – will be made up as a single-admission doubleheader on Thursday beginning at 12:10 p.m. at Citi Field.
Only tickets for Tuesday’s rainout will be honored for Thursday’s doubleheader.
Ticket-holders for Wednesday’s rainout will receive a digital voucher from the Mets that will be accessible Thursday morning, the team said in a news release. Those vouchers can be exchanged for another 2024 Mets home game (with exceptions).
The Mets’ season opener on March 28 also was postponed by rain and moved to the next day.
Starting Thursday, the Mets will play 15 games in 14 days.
Adrian Houser will start Game 1 for the Mets. The club did not announce a Game 2 starter.
