Alexander Greaves, Half Hollow Hills, Sr.

Greaves increased his average by nine pins from a season ago to 231.15, the highest on Long Island. The Suffolk All-Star team member was tied for 10th in Suffolk with a 290 high game.

Greaves was the only bowler on Long Island to have an 800 series. He had games of 277, 279 and 247 for an 803 series on Dec. 3 against Brentwood. Greaves rolled a 796 series in his following match, which was the second-highest on Long Island.

FIRST TEAM

Gavin Connell, Islip, Jr.

Connell ranked eighth in Suffolk with a 221.07 average. The junior ranked fifth with a 756 high series and had a high game of 269.

Jeremy Holcomb, Smithtown, Sr.

Holcomb’s was one of six Suffolk bowlers to roll a 300. His 229.95 average ranked sixth in Suffolk and his 742 series was ninth.

Andrew Jacobsen, East Islip, Sr.

Jacobsen’s 223.71 average and 762 high series each ranked fourth in Suffolk. His high game of the season was 299.

Luke Jovans, Commack, Jr.

Jovans, who had a high game of 300, ranked second in Suffolk and third on Long Island with a 228.23 average. His 755 series was sixth in the county.

Lucas Lam, Bellmore-Merrick, Soph.

Lam’s 230.03 average was the best in Nassau and ranked second on Long Island. He had a high series of 773 and high game of 268 for the Division I county champions.

Sean McNally, Harborfields, Sr.

McNally’s 223.07 average ranked fifth in Suffolk. He had a high series of 737 and a high game of 279.

Chris Rinaldi, Whitman, Sr.

Rinaldi rolled a perfect game and his 225.97 average ranked third in Suffolk. His 781 high series ranked second in the county.

Andrew Schaefer, Commack, Jr.

Schaefer bowled a 300 this season. His 222.26 average and high series of 750 ranked seventh in Suffolk.

Liam Sushko, Sewanhaka, Sr.

Sushko ranked second in Nassau with a 219.56 average. He had a high game of 268 and a high series of 727.

Coach of the Year: Judith Fischer, East Islip

Despite missing an All-Long Island bowler for the entire season due to injury, Fischer guided East Islip to a county championship and a third-place finish at the state championship.
