Francesca Curatolo scored with nine seconds left in the first overtime to lead New Hyde Park to an 8-7 win over Carey in Nassau Conference III girls lacrosse on Monday. Curatolo finished with four goals, Gia Cefaloni had two goals and Sarah Minelli and Brigid O’Connor each had one goal for New Hyde Park (1-3).

Leila Paz had six goals and Kaylin DeJesus made 11 saves for Carey (1-4).

Lynbrook 12, Oceanside 9: Brooke Mazzei had four goals and four assists to lead Lynbrook (4-0) in Nassau II. Sophie Deifel and Penelope Yaker each had two goals and an assist. Delia Kirkpatrick had 10 saves. Sydney Abbott and Samantha Gemmo each had two goals and two assists for Oceanside (1-4).

Northport 11, Sachem North 5: Kate Atkinson had four goals, including her 200th career goal, and two assists to lead Northport (4-0) in Suffolk I. Charlotte Cuneo made eight saves. Mattea Vino had two goals and one assist for Sachem North (2-1).

SATURDAY’S GAME

Westhampton 10, New Canaan (Conn.) 9: Tierney McEntee had the winning goal in overtime to lead Westhampton (4-0) in non-league. Lily Graves had three goals, Ava Derby had two goals and two assists and Reese King had one goal and three assists. Maya Farnan made 16 saves.

Locust Valley 12, Herricks 11: Owen Pye had two goals and four assists to lead Locust Valley (3-1) in Nassau II. James Fox had four goals. Grayson Iannotti made 10 saves. Gavin Dugger, Nate Kershaw and Troy Madden each had three goals for Herricks (2-1). Madden had four assists.

BASEBALL

Carle Place 4, Oyster Bay 1: Tommy Schoch struck out six and allowed two hits in six innings and went 3-for-3 with an RBI to lead Carle Place (4-1) in Nassau B. Patrick McCarthy went 1-for-3 with a double, an RBI and a run scored. Philip Bunt and Michael Tucholski each went 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored.

Westhampton 6, Harborfields 5: Jacob Permakoff went 2-for-4 with a home run to lead Westhampton (1-2) in Suffolk V. Brian Danowski went 2-for-3 with two RBIs. Liam McGinness and Reese Smith each had two hits. McGinness pitched five innings and earned the win, and Luke Gobler picked up the save. Joe Deceglie had two hits for Harborfields (2-1).

Floyd 3, Rocky Point 2: Aidan Dobrie drove in AJ Cannet in the top of the sixth inning with the go-ahead run for Floyd (1-0) in non-league. Jack Molini and Cannet each had two hits. Jacob Cooke earned the win, scattering six hits over 4 2⁄3 innings.

St. Dominic 6, Monsignor McClancy 2: Ray Kim struck out 11 in a complete game for St. Dominic (7-1) in non-league. Lou Gounaris went 2-for-3 and had two RBIs.

Division 6, Island Trees 4: Mallory Gulotta hit a two-run home run and struck out six in a complete game to lead Division (2-3) in Nassau IV. Emma Robins, Brianna Romero and Kayleigh Shearin each had two hits. Kaylee Weinberg had two RBIs.

Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK 7, Syosset 4: Avery Desner struck out 15 in a complete game to lead POB JFK (3-2) in non-league. Sammy Szypula went 2-for-4 with a triple, a double and an RBI. Ava Frangas went 3-for-4 with two RBIs. Angelina Mancuso went 3-for-3 with two RBIs. Taylor Renny had a three-run triple for Syosset (2-3).

FLAG FOOTBALL

Patchogue-Medford 41, Copiague 13: Mackenzie Hughes completed 18 of 26 passes for 219 yards and six touchdowns to lead Patchogue-Medford (5-0) in Suffolk I. Angelina McGrath had two catches for 109 yards and two touchdowns. Paige McGowan had three catches for 57 yards and a touchdown, Camryn Young had four catches for 17 yards and two touchdowns, and Marie Cataldo had five catches for 26 yards and a touchdown. Skyler Smith had eight flag pulls and two sacks.
