Miley Cyrus’ visual album, "Something Beautiful," is coming to theaters nationwide for one night only on June 12, including select locations across Long Island.
The film will play locally at Regal UA Farmingdale, Regal Westbury, AMC Stony Brook 17, Island 16: Cinema de Lux in Holtsville and Regal Deer Park.
The theatrical release brings Cyrus' ninth studio album to the big screen through cinematic visuals, original new music and performance art.
"'Something Beautiful' is my dream project come true — fashion, film, and original music coexisting in harmony," Cyrus said in a news release Tuesday. "Each collaborator has used their expertise to make this fantasy a reality."
The film accompanies Cyrus' "Something Beautiful" album, released May 30, which she executive produced alongside Shawn Everett. It is described as a "one of a kind pop opera fueled by fantasy."
Cyrus codirected the film with Jacob Bixenman and Brendan Walter.
The film premiered June 6 during the Tribeca Festival at Manhattan's Beacon Theatre. The premiere was followed by an open floor discussion with Cyrus and her co-directors, but was briefly interrupted by fans who had expected a live performance. Cyrus briefly sang an a cappella version of her 2009 hit "The Climb."
The multimedia project follows 2023's "Miley Cyrus: Endless Summer Vacation (Backyard Sessions)," released on Disney+, in which she performed songs from her album "Endless Summer Vacation."
Tickets for "Something Beautiful" screenings are available on the film’s official website.
