Shannon Udell scored off an assist from her sister Heather 32 minutes into the first half in a 2-0 victory for Wantagh over Clarke in non-league girls soccer play on Wednesday.

Heather Udell then scored five minutes into the second half off an assist from Riley Conlon for Wantagh (4-3).

Oceanside 2, Massapequa 0: Ava Bowers had a goal and an assist for Oceanside (3-3-2) in Nassau AAA/AA-I. Gianna Visone also scored in the win.

West Islip 1, Centereach 0: Erin Palmeri scored from 35 yards out in the 20th minute to lead West Islip (7-0-1) in Suffolk V. West Islip’s backline held Centereach without a shot on goal. Rose Miller made 17 saves for Centereach (0-6-1).

Kellenberg 3, Sacred Heart 1: Mia Claro scored two goals and Brooke Segura added another to lead Kellenberg (8-1) in CHSAA play. Mia Hennelly had seven saves.

Islip 1, Kings Park 0: Nicole Matute scored to lead Islip (6-1) in Suffolk VII. Peighton McKenna made eight saves.

Babylon 7, Mount Sinai 4: Grace Varley had three goals and Julia Wider added two goals for Babylon (3-3-1) in Suffolk VII.

Connetquot 1, Smithtown East 0: Kenice Wilson sent a through ball to Alyssa Guiliano in the 61st minute, leading to the game’s only goal in non-league for Connetquot (4-3). Emily Anderson had eight saves. Center back Kasey Alvino helped keep the shutout.

BOYS SOCCER

Bethpage 2, Clarke 1: Brady Herbert scored two goals and Syon Khashu added an assist to lead Bethpage (5-4-1) in Nassau A-I.

TUESDAY’S GAMES

Great Neck South 0, MacArthur 0: Zachary Draguca saved a penalty kick with six minutes left to preserve the tie for MacArthur (2-4-2) in Nassau AA-I.

Sachem East 3, Patchogue-Medford 2: James Schneider scored with three minutes left in double overtime to lead Sachem East (6-3) in non-league. Jaxon Weber had two goals and an assist.

Carle Place 2, Garden City 0: Elise Biggin and Emi Coronel each had a goal and Megan Rice made eight saves to lead Carle Place (6-1) in Nassau I.

Manhasset 1, Cold Spring Harbor 0: Sofia Scalzo scored off an assist from Maddie Takahashi for Manhasset (4-3).

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

Sachem East 3, Patchogue-Medford 1: Gabriella Rice had 17 kills and 10 blocks and Samantha Madigan tallied 38 assists and six kills as Sachem East (7-1) won, 12-25, 25-18, 32-20, 26-24, in Suffolk I. Vanessa Fieschel added 20 digs and eight assists. Abigail Christie added 13 kills.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Half Hollow Hills 3, Sachem East 2: Kent Malaby had 21 kills and nine digs, Jordan Cador had 19 kills and Royale Baker had 46 assists as Half Hollow Hills (3-3) won, 25-23, 27-25, 12-25, 27-29, 15-11, in Suffolk I on Tuesday.

Huntington 5, Smithtown West 2: Sabrina Boyle defeated Sydnie Vogel, 6-2, 6-1, at first singles while Bridget Callery and Kate Gordon defeated Kaitlyn Martucci and Katerina Miller 7-6(7-1), 5-7, 10-6 to lead Huntington (7-2) in Suffolk I

Sachem 4, Patchogue-Medford 3: Fiona Mauro defeated Bella Katz, 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, at second singles for Sachem (7-2) in Suffolk III.

GYMNASTICS

Middle Country 169.525, Babylon 142.075: Madisyn Rodriguez finished won the vault (9.15) and bars (9.375) for Middle Country (4-0) in a non-league on Tuesday. Rodriguez also scored a 9.3 to capture second place on the floor.

Hannah Hughes won the other two events with a 9.525 for beam and a 9.575 on floor. Hughes finished second with a 9.325 on bars.

BOYS GOLF

South Side 8, East Meadow 1: Scott Bernabeu shot an even-par 36 at the Eisenhower White Course to lead South Side (8-1).

Hauppauge 8, Smithtown West 1: RJ Pfister shot a 2-over 38, Aidan Kildale shot a 40 and Ethan Segal shot a 42 for Hauppauge at Windwatch Golf & Country Club in Suffolk III. Mike Wagner and Will Cavallo shot 42 for Smithtown West.

Mattituck 9, Shelter Island 0: Andrew McKenzie shot a 2-over 37 on the front nine at Gardiners Bay on Shelter Island to lead Mattituck (5-1) in Suffolk VII.
