Abigail Breslin talks 'Ender's Game,' 'Perfect Sisters' at Rebecca Minkoff show with Nikki Reed
Abigail Breslin told Newsday she is looking forward to working with Harrison Ford on her upcoming film "Ender's Game," based on the novel of the same name by Orson Scott Card.
"I'm really excited for it," she said. "It's a really interesting story, and I hope all of the fans of the book are going to love it."
Breslin, 15, said because of her filming schedule she will not be able to attend many Fashion Week shows, but she didn't want to miss the Rebecca Minkoff show, to which she wore a top by the designer and an oversized brown jacket.
In addition to the "Ender's Game" film, Breslin said she is working on a movie called "Perfect Sisters."
"It's a really different movie for me," she said. "It's very heavy, very dark.
The film, which comes out this year, is about two girls who murder their mother in Canada. Breslin plays one of the sisters, Sandra. The film is based on a true story.
She said to prepare for the role she read the script "over and over" and researched articles about the events.
Breslin attended the show with "Twilight" star Nikki Reed, who was not taking questions from reporters.
Reed was wearing a blue and green maxi dress with a sequin jacket.
