It appears retirement is no longer in the cards for Barry Manilow. The 78-year-old crooner from Brooklyn will return to the stage for a limited engagement six-date tour called “Manilow: Hits 2022,” which comes to UBS Arena at Belmont Park in Elmont on Aug. 6. Saxophonist Dave Koz will be the special guest.

Manilow started saying goodbye back in 2015 on his “One Last Time! Tour,” which played Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale. But he came back in 2017 for his “This Is My Town Tour” followed by “A Very Barry Christmas Tour” returning to the Coliseum for multiple nights that year. In 2019, Manilow even did a Broadway residency playing a string of shows at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. His new tour will be sure to feature songs spanning his 50-year career, such as “Mandy,” “Can’t Smile Without You,” “Copacabana (At the Copa)” and “I Write the Songs.”

Tickets for Manilow’s show go on sale May 13 at 11 a.m. via ticketmaster.com. American Express cardmembers have access to a presale starting Monday at 10 a.m. through Thursday at 10 p.m.
