The moment “Friends” fans have all been waiting for is almost here. The cast will reunite in an NBC tribute special for television director James Burrows on Sunday, Feb. 21, and in anticipation, the network has released a sneak peek.

Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer will appear on the special, "Must See TV: An All-Star Tribute to James Burrows." Matthew Perry, who played Chandler on the hit sitcom, will not be in attendance. His spokeswoman said in January that the actor would be in London for rehearsals for his play, “The End of Longing.”

As of Saturday afternoon, the video of the sneak peek had been viewed on Facebook 2,154,094 times and had more than 19,000 likes.

Burrows is recognized as television's most accomplished comedy director, according to NBC. He made his TV-sitcom directing debut with an episode of "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" in 1974. His work on "Taxi," "Cheers," "Frasier" and "Will and Grace" earned him 10 Emmy Awards and four Directors Guild of America Awards. He has also directed episodes of "The Big Bang Theory," "Two and a Half Men" and "Mike and Molly."

The special will celebrate the 1000th television episode Burrows has directed, from his new NBC comedy "Crowded."

NBC will air the special, produced by Sean Hayes of “Will and Grace,” at 9 p.m. Sunday.

Cast members of other shows he has directed, including Melissa McCarthy and Charlie Sheen, will also be in attendance.
