A 73-year-old West Islip man is accused of possessing child pornography on his tablet computer, Suffolk police said Tuesday.

Nicholas Pedagno was arrested Monday at about 5 p.m. on a charge of possessing a sexual performance by a child, Suffolk police said in a news release.

Detectives from the department’s Computer Crimes Unit who arrested Pedagno examined his iPad, on which they found he had several social media accounts in which he identified himself as a younger person.

LOVE361569 on Twitter;

BUTTERFLY3615 on Telegram.

Pedagno is scheduled for arraignment on April 15 at First District Court in Central Islip.

Police ask anyone with information or who believe they may be a victim to contact the Computer Crimes Unit at 631-852-6279.
