A 24-year-old Copiague man was hit in the head and injured during a fight early Sunday inside the Monsoon restaurant in Babylon Village, Suffolk County police said.

Police said the victim, whom authorities did not identify, suffered a laceration on his head and was treated at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip.

According to a police report, the incident occurred at about 2 a.m. at the Deer Park Avenue establishment.

Police said there were no arrests and that no further information about the fight were immediately available.
