Lindsay Lohan says she was not even at the Los Angeles lounge Thursday where a woman claims the "Mean Girls" star shoved her.

"Lindsay was not there that night and whomever made up this intentionally malicious and harmful story is going to be held accountable for their actions," Lohan's spokesman, Steve Honig, told Newsday.

A woman at a lounge at The Standard Hotel filed an incident report with the West Hollywood Sheriff's Department alleging battery, saying that Lohan, 25, did not like her chatting with Lohan's male friend and subsequently shoved her, according to TMZ.com. The complainant claimed visible bruises and a back injury.

TMZ later reported that it spoke with six people at the hotel, including staffers on duty that night, and none saw Lohan there that evening nor had heard that she was in the hotel or that there had been an altercation.

In an earlier statement, Honig said, "This is clearly another case of someone looking for money and 15 minutes of fame."
