BACKGROUND
- Roth, 57, of Glen Head, is on the Democratic, Republican and Conservative lines in the general election.
- Since 2014, he has served as principal law clerk to the Hon. James P. McCormack, a Supreme Court justice.
- From 2011 to 2014, he worked for the Center for Court Innovation, now known as the Center for Justice Innovation. From 2010 to 2011, he was an associate attorney at the Latronica Law Firm PC, where he practiced negligence and matrimonial law.
- Roth was a deputy county attorney, senior trial counsel with the Nassau County Attorney’s Office Family Court Bureau, from 2005 to 2010.
- From 2001 to 2005, he worked for the law firm of Jerome A. Wisselman, now known as Wisselman Harounian & Associates, as an associate attorney practicing matrimonial and family law.
- Roth received his undergraduate degree from the George Washington University in 1989 and earned his law degree from Hofstra Law School in 1993. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1994, and the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York in 2001.
